As a teen, he continues to struggle with his sexuality and encounters violence and bullying at his school. Later in life, despite living in Atlanta, the people from his past continue to influence his sense of self. The loss of his career leads Tyler towards a path of drugs and rage, leading to the death of his girlfriend.
